 These services are performed when you schedule an Heat check.
 
  1. Cooling: Primary Concern - Economy
  2. Change filters if available.
  3. Clean and calibrate thermostat.
  4. Check wiring and wiring connections.
  5. Clean Blower motor and air flow ports.
  6. Lubricate blower motor.
  7. Monitor start-up and running amperage on motor.
  8. Check fan belt and adjust if necessary.
  9. Check lower limit, high limit, and fan limit switches.
  10. Monitor complete cycle of unit.
  11. Check all safety controls.
  12. Clean and adjust pilot assembly.
  13. Examine burners.
  14. Examine heat exchanger for leaks or cracks.
  15. Check gas line at unit for leaks and proper installation.
  16. Check heat anticipator and adjust if necessary.
  17. Heating / Electric: Primary Concern - Safety and Economy
  18. Change filters if available
  19. Clean and calibrate thermostat
  20. Check wiring and wiring connections
  21. Clean Blower motor and air flow ports
  22. Lubricate blower motor
  23. Monitor start-up and running amperage on motor.
  24. Monitor complete cycle of unit.
  25. Monitor heating elements for proper amperage draw
  26. Check heat sequencers for proper operation
  27. Check all safety controls
  28. Check breakers or fuses for proper amperage draw
  29. Check for proper temperature rise
  30. Check heat anticipator and adjust if necessary.
